At LiveOnNY, we save lives, provide comfort and strenghthen legacies through orrgan, eye and tissue donation for the more than 13 million New Yorkers. Create and coordinate the implementation of strategies for either the Mt. Sinai or New York Presbyterian Health System engagement. Gathers support at the health system level impacting organ and tissue donation programs within system hospitals. Responsible for ensuring positive outcomes with respect to donation and related concerns of the health system. Extends the reach of donation discussions to health system’s patient community by utilizing their Accountable Care Organization (ACO) or primary care venues. Supports and fosters the mission of the organization and its commitment to tissue and organ donation.
Develop and maintain relationships with administrators at the hospital health system or corporate level. Provide consultative services relating to the improvement of the health system’s organ and tissue donor program, policy development and compliance with key performance measures. Create and share annual health system strategic plan for donation program development and improvement. Work with regional Hospital Services teams to implement system-wide initiatives at affiliated hospitals.
Design and execute regular system-wide/ corporate learning opportunities such as symposia, health system collaborative meetings and system-wide PI councils. Develop one major health system and LiveOnNY cosponsored symposium or collaborative a year. Act as team lead for the full execution of an annual program including event planning and promotion. Implement education and outreach programs designed for primary care physician or ACO engagement as advocates for donation with their patient populations. Work with LiveOnNY leadership to grow, develop and improve the program to function as an additional vital portal for donor designation decisions.
Responsible for workplace partnership program promotion. Assist in the design and promotion of key asset activation intended to drive donor designations and improve the corporate culture of donation.
Work collaboratively with regional Senior HSS to ensure consistent messaging.
Previous HSS experience and minimum 3 yrs. healthcare marketing/sales or related healthcare experience and a Bachelor’s degree required. Master's degree preferred. Must be proficient in Excel and PowerPoint and have an understanding of medical terminology. Demonstrated leadership qualities and organizational skills required. Ability to effectively present information to senior management, public groups and or borad of directors necessary. Use of personal car is required.
