Overview

The Project Manager,Hospital & Family Services position is responsible for operational support, as well as, the development of new programs or projects for Hospital Services and Family Services. Develops and utilizes appropriate measures for each program to determine successes as well as areas requiring improvement. Demonstrates ownership of the donation process and donation outcomes and strives to support field operations and organizational outcomes through effective and clear leadership and stewardship. Utilizes critical thinking, integrity and judgement to navigate ambiguous project areas

Responsibilities

  • Plans, monitors, completes and assigns project tasks through to completion in Hospital Services and Family Services departments.
  • Provides regular updates to leadership on progress and obstacles around project completion.
  • Pursues inter-departmental support and assistance as needed for project success.
  • Acts as liaison to Training and Development to plan and facilitate Hospital Services and Family Services education requirements and to insure scheduling objectives are accomplished.
  • Tracks the delivery of new hire departmental training.
  • Responsible for scheduling of departmental staff.
  • Participates in the Family Services Manager and Hospital Services Manager on call schedule.
  • Works with QA department on internal audits and remains current with regulatory standards surrounding donation as they relate to donor hospitals 

 

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of relevant experience. Master's degree preferred. Previous project management experience preferred. Demonstrated ability and desire to work in a highly matrixed environment with several stakeholders, including senior level hospital administrators. Knowledgeable in Salesforce, Constant Contact and InDesign.
