    At LiveOnNY we save lives, provide comfort, and strengthen legacies through organ, eye and tissue donation for the 13 million New Yorkers we serve. The Hospital Services Specialist identifies barriers, develops and implement strategies that increase organ and tissue donation in assigned hospitals within LiveOnNY's service area.     Responsibilities

    Establish positive rapport with hospital personnel to increase organ and tissue referrals and to improve the overall donation process.

     

    Assess opportunities for performance improvement and consult with

    hospital partners to achieve sustainable, measurable systemic changes to improve donation rates.

     

    Develop and coordinate marketing and educational programs on organ and tissue donation with hospital personnel to create awareness. Write hospital strategic plans, analyze hospital data and perform medical record reviews to identify missed potential.

     

    Delivers professional education and lectures, functions as a spokesperson for the advancement of organ and tissue donation. Participates in marketing and professional education programs designed to increase hospital’s cooperation in the donation process, advocate for the donation cause and instill confidence in LiveOnNY’s services.

     

    Participates in real-time case assistance with a principal focus on process support.

    Qualifications

    Minimum 3 yrs. healthcare marketing/sales or related healthcare experience and a Bachelor’s degree required. Master's degree preferred. Must be proficient in Excel and PowerPoint and have an understanding of medical terminology. Use of personal car is required.
