The Training and Development Specialist supports the Education & Training department creating, implementing and facilitating the education, learning and professional growth of the LiveOnNY teams.
Developing training materials and processes meeting both the organization’s requirements and employee’s needs.
Researching trainers, programs and new techniques based on identified educational needs of in-house and remote staff.
Scheduling programs and seminars (from contract preparation, arranging travel itineraries, coordinating course materials and tracking attendance).
Developing, facilitating and documenting e-learning/webinars and creating instructional design materials.
Maintaining calendar, scheduling presenters for and facilitating new hire orientation.
Collaborating with Salesforce administrator to ensure the system remains updated and functional to meet the needs of all departments. Providing technical support to Salesforce end-users via troubleshooting, hands-on training and labs.
Acting as system administrator for learning management system (LMS).
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of five years experience in a training and development role. Demonstrated successful execution of the full training life cycle for technical and soft skills training.
Previous experience coordinating travel, schedules and maintaining a training calendar
Demonstrated ability to facilitate effective trainings, deliver results, meet deadlines and targets
Excellent presentation, oral & written communication, facilitation, platform speaking and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to take initiative and work with limited direction
Proficiency with MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint and Salesforce
Working knowledge of eLearning course applications, including Articulate 360
