The Hospital Services Liasion: identifies barriers, develops and implements strategies that increase organ and tissue donation in assigned hospitals within LiveOnNY's service area. Join us in helping New Yorkers to live on by making New York number one in lives saved through donation.
This is an on-site role. Must have a valid drivers license and vehicle.
Develop and implement marketing plans focused on the performance improvement process that ultimately increases organ and tissue donation.
Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of hospital market to maximize donor potential and identify hospital protocols that support best practices for donation.
Conduct educational needs assessment for assigned hospitals and develop and implement educational plan. Delivers professional education and lectures, functions as a spokesperson for the advancement of organ and tissue donation.
Develop and conduct accredited educational programs for healthcare professionals.
Establish multi-disciplinary councils within assigned hospitals, using peer level influence in order to forge a consensus about standards of practice for the donor referral and family request process.
Fosters the culture of intradepartmental collaboration and cooperation necessary to maximize donation outcomes.
Maintains key relationships with internal and external stakeholders to initiate changes in practice to increase organ and tissue donation.
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in marketing or related field. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum 3 years' related experience and/or training in healthcare marketing/sales or OPO.
Ability to read, write, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to effectively present information to senior management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

Salary Range: $70,000-$80,000
